Argox sets goals for the New Year
This first issue of Argox Barcode News for 2006 provides a brief review of last year and our expectations for this Year of the Dog. We also share a few pictures of our newly renovated office spaces, and provide our holiday schedule for the Lunar New Year.

 Goals for 2006 |

| Argox has several goals for the upcoming year. First, we wish to improve service quality and customer satisfaction by 5% as measured by our customer surveys. Second, we aim to raise our efficiency by 12% with better delivery lead times, improved debugging, and enhanced production performance and capacity. By raising our inventory pool we will have more components and finished product on hand to shorten lead times and boost our flexibility. Third, we will strengthen our interaction with customers. Our goal is to meet each of our customers face-to-face at least once or twice a year, though we are happy to meet several times a year if possible.
Our sales target for 2006 is to increase sales by 50% over last year. We expect much of this growth to come from the emerging markets, as well as from our efforts at raising customer satisfaction.

| 2005 in Review |

| Last year was another good year for Argox. Sales continued to grow, plus we moved into a new manufacturing facility and expanded our offices. Emerging market sales increased 400%-500% after two years of market development in Eastern Europe, with inquiries coming from as far away as Kenya. Scanner sales grew 20% beyond our target estimates for the year, and sales of our portable data collectors grew several times due to their best cost/performance.
However, there were some bumps in 2005. Notably, performance of ODM customers was behind expectations. Overall sales to ODM customers were 20% below target, under-performing by NT$ 30 million. We look forward to having better ODM sales for 2006

| Table Tennis Anyone? |

| Since we moved our manufacturing spaces into a new building earlier this year, we've been busy renovating our offices. For the past several months there's been a marked improvement in our company work spaces. First, we expanded the individual work area for all employees, and then came a new recreation area, and finally we have just finished our new lobby.
Argox firmly believes that employees are our most valuable assets. Their health, fitness, and good spirits are important to our success. Since doubling our office space, Argox employees enjoy more room to work and to stretch out.
We have also built a new recreation area where employees can go to relax and recharge their batteries. Located on the same floor, next to our offices, it's about a third as large. Over the past few weeks we've added a pool table, table tennis, foosball, cycling and jogging machines, a one-hole putting green, darts, and a snack area with tables and chairs. The recreation area is a casual meeting place that encourages communication between departments and among all employees. We also expect the recreation area to foster more creative thinking and company spirit.
The final touch was our new lobby, which was just completed in December. Its design is sleek and hi-tech, and features our company colors white and orange. Simplicity, practicality, and effectiveness are what we wish to convey with the new design, as well as a feeling of openness and a sense of future possibilities. The lobby arches outline two large "A's" that stand for Argox and our "A+ spirit." You are welcome to visit our new office anytime and play a game of table tennis!

| Holiday Notice |

Argox will observe the Lunar New Year and all of our facilities will be closed from January 28th to February 3rd. We will resume work on February 6th. For incoming orders and shipments, our last shipping day before the holiday is January 25th
and our first shipping day after the holiday is February 6th. If you require any
new shipments during this time period, please issue an order as soon as
possible so that we can arrange a shipping schedule. During the holidays,
all of our sales/marketing staff will check their individual mail boxes
