Sales for the month of April broke all company records. A major increase in sales comes from a project that required a large shipment of barcode scanners. In addition, we saw an increase in printer sales in every territory. Since the beginning of April all of our production lines have been working overtime.

So far, the month of May also shows a large increase in sales, and our production schedule is already at full capacity. It's still early but we may be looking at a new record!

On June 11th, Argox will host a new product launch in the 3rd floor Grand Ballroom at the Formosa Regent Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan. We are sending out invitations to major customers and members of the barcode industry, and we expect between 200 and 300 people to attend. Argox is working with a local distributor to host this event.

The emphasis will be on the launch of our new products such as the PT-10 and PT-12 PDTs, and the AS-8310 Long Range Imager. Our entire product line will also be on display.

The agenda of the show will include product demonstrations and application seminars. The PT-10 and PT-12 will demo with various applications developed in-house for real-world applications such as retail warehousing and inventory controls.

From June 22~25, Argox will exhibit at the Scantech show in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is our first time exhibiting here. We look forward to serving another major country in South America. More details will appear in next month's newsletter.

The three-day Retail Business Technology Show will be held in Melbourne from July 28~30.

Argox plans to formally announce that we are providing our full line of products and full-scale support in this territory.

Retail Business Technology is a popular show as it is already 95% booked. Argox is exhibiting our entire line of products and our sales staff and field application engineers will all attend. We look forward to having good discussions at the show.

Argox is taking our annual company holiday tour in late May, and our offices will be closed for 10 days.

The annual tour is to thank our employees for helping Argox achieve another banner year. The company tour allows employees to choose their own destinations. Travel arrangements are subsidized by the company if five or more employees travel together.

A photo contest may take place with results appearing in an upcoming newsletter.
