Argox Wins the 15th Annual “Rising Star Award”
Argox Information Co., Ltd. has just won the 15th annual “Rising Star Award” from Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA). The award was presented by Premier Sean Chen at a ceremony held at the Taipei International Convention Center on August 29, 2012. Established in 1996 to develop, manufacture and market barcode label printers, Argox has become a global brand through its outstanding technical capabilities, flexible production, and worldwide marketing strategy.
The Rising Star Award recognizes the export performance and operations management of highly competitive domestic small and medium enterprises that are active in expanding onto the world stage. Winners are chosen by a judging committee that reviews written documentation, makes on-site visits, and conducts a strict three stage selection process that evaluates the enterprise’s export record, global competitiveness, operations management, finances, and the uniqueness of the enterprise. This year, of the 62 enterprises competing for the award, only 10 were selected.
Argox is one of the few companies in the world that manufactures three major automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) products: barcode label printers, barcode scanners, and portable data terminals; and its Argox brand products are sold in over 60 countries. With the rapid growth of the worldwide AIDC industry, Argox launches new products every year, and leads in related application fields. Argox products have received recognition for both technology and quality: its PT-60 mobile computer received the “2009 Taiwan Excellence Award” and its PT-90 mobile computer won the “2010 Computex d&i Award”, and the “2011 Taiwan Excellence Award”.
Argox has established its own business model with a youthful and enthusiastic team, a people-friendly work environment, and a constant striving for new goals and challenges.
