2008 China Distributor Meeting |
On October 24th and 25th, Argox hosted its annual China Distributor Meeting at beautiful Mt. Huang in Anhui Province. Distributors and resellers from around China attended the event at this scenic resort. It was an excellent opportunity for Argox to enhance our relationships with more than sixty attendees. The focus of the meeting was to discuss Argox’s strategy for 2009, and it was a good occasion to demo new products and updates scheduled for launch in the coming year. Argox also explained technical support programs for distributors, new applications and solutions. China is a dynamic market with huge potential and Argox continues to extend and develop our business there.

Argox has just received an elegant (and heavy) crystal trophy from the China Credit Information Service. The trophy was awarded in September to commemorate Argox’s ranking as number 50 in computer peripherals in a survey of Taiwan’s top 5000 corporations. This award inspires all of us at Argox to strive for excellence in our company operations and in the products and services we provide.

Every Friday after work, several Argox employees get together and take a bike ride through Taipei’s city and suburbs. The route they take is often along an extensive network of bike paths that the Taipei government has been building for the past several years. Bike paths in Greater Taipei follow local rivers and coastline and have reached over 250 kilometers in length. Needless to say, bike riding is becoming increasingly popular in Taipei.
One of the founding members of Argox’s unofficial bike club is Terry Wang, an Argox technical support engineer. Terry is always happy to give advice on buying a bike or accessories, repairs and maintenance, or just biking in general. Earlier this year Terry and two college friends rode their bikes around the island of Taiwan. Traveling clockwise along the coast, they covered 1,089 kilometers in seven days.
Biking is a wonderful activity. Not only is it a great way to exercise and enjoy the outdoors, it’s also a nice transportation alternative that is friendly to the environment. Argox gives “thumbs up” to our biking employees! |
