Labelexpo, Moscow, Russia (Hall 4A, Booth M4)

From March 23~26 Argox will be at the Labelexpo show, our first exhibition in Russia. We are taking a close look at this emerging market and hope this event will give us a start on developing new channels and customers.

The AS-8310 Long Range Imager is our new advanced long-range scanner. A high performance imager, the AS-8310 delivers exceptional speed and accuracy. For a faster, more cost-effective alternative to laser barcode scanners, this is the imager to get.

The AS-8310 uses a 32-bit processor and enhanced image processing algorithms to attain industry-leading speeds of 450 scans per second. Depth of field performance allows the scanning of a low resolution shipping label at a distance of 1.5 meters. Even poor quality barcodes are readable with this scanner. Bright environments such as direct sunlight or well-lighted retail environments are not a problem; the AS-8310 provides accurate scans in strong ambient light up to 75,000 lux. In addition to standard linear barcode symbologies, the imager also reads 2-Dimensional stacked barcode symbologies such as PDF417, RSS, and Code 16K.

The AS-8310 is built to withstand tough industrial environments with a durable rubber overmolding to protect all contact points and an IP42 protection rating. The imager is lightweight at 160 grams and has an ergonomic comfort grip for ease of use.

In addition to handheld operation, the AS-8310 features an optional adjustable caddy for hands-free scanning. The optional caddy is an ideal accessory for retail checkout counters.
