On the Road in Eastern Europe
Making gains in this new and important market

This month's newsletter talks about Argox in Eastern Europe; including a review of October's INVEX show and our road show to Russia. We also relate how we solved an urgent request for support from our partner Koncept-L in Poland.

Event Review
INVEX, Czech Republic
This year was Argox's third year participating in the three-day INVEX Trade Show in Brno, Czech Republic. The show was held October 11~13 and featured many of the world's leading IT companies. INVEX has become one of the most important shows in Europe. Argox was the only company from Taiwan showing printers. This year we could see that many show-goers have become familiar with our brand.

For Argox the important goals for the show were to support our brand and to compare notes with distributors. INVEX is a convenient place to meet with partners from around Eastern Europe and exchange information. After three years our distributors have more confidence in our commitment to their markets. In addition to attending the show, our sales team spent two days visiting partners in the Czech Republic and Slovakia for training and discussion.

Road Show
Russia
After exhibiting at the INVEX show, the Argox team traveled to Russia to visit our partners for training and to demonstrate products. Two of our technicians had never seen snow, and now was their chance! When they reached Moscow, our distributor had arranged a seminar that was attended by 51 customers. We appreciate the professional attention our distributor had given the seminar; he had translated all of our sales materials into Russian. At the seminar our team introduced products and applications and answered many questions.

This is the third year we have visited Russia and our customer base is growing with four main dealers. From what we have heard, no other Taiwan company has committed the effort or provided the after sales service in Russia that Argox has. Our sales team appreciated the hospitality of our Russian distributors. Not only did we receive a warm send off at the airport, but we also received an order for 1000 units!

Thanks to Koncept-L
At the INVEX show our customer from Koncept-L in Poland missed his train and couldn't make his scheduled appointment. However, he was determined to talk with the Argox team and flew to Prague, where we arranged a meeting. There he thanked us for our support and told us he hoped for a long-term cooperation.

As fate would have it, soon after our team returned to Taiwan, we received an urgent request for support from Koncept-L. He needed a special application for his customer, a French supermarket. Because of the time difference we received the request at 5pm in the evening—and we didn't let him down. Our R&D and sales team stayed up through the night and came up with one solution, and then another that finally solved his problem at 5am in morning. Koncept-L sent us his thanks, saying he was surprised and happy for our after sales support. We were also glad to provide support to Koncept-L. Thanks for being our good partner!
